A health guide or coach is someone who helps you develop a lifestyle that works to support your treatment plans and life goals. As a health guide, I help clients first and foremost by listening to them. Often our work includes removing triggers such as excessive over-the-counter medications or personally-problematic foods, becoming mindful, developing stress management techniques, healing the gut with herbs and minerals, focusing on sleep quality, incorporating enjoyable movement, and transitioning to natural beauty and self care products.
As a health guide/coach, I am not a nutritionist, counselor, or physician (yet). I cannot diagnose, nor can I prescribe medications or alter any medications you are currently taking. Think of me as a consultant who can help you determine what questions to ask your doctors and what changes you can make at home, but not as someone who gives direct medical advice.
